Handbrake cables touching chassis rail

Hi all,
I stuck a plate in my chassis the other day to hold the ends of my handbrake cable sleeves.
I didn't think too far ahead... and the handbrake cables are pushed up against one of the seat back rails as they exit the tunnel.
Am I right in thinking Mr IVA Man isn't going to be too keen on them rubbing against the chassis?

They're not likely to move or chaff are they?

Just thought I'd bring some closure to this one.
I know you both said it was probably ok, but I just wasn't happy and had to change it.
Not just because of the cables touching the rail, but also because the plate itself bowed significantly when I applied the handbrake, and would have got in the way of where I want to bring the brake and fuel pipes through the tunnel.
Here's what it looks like now, and this time I checked the cables wouldn't touch the rail before I welded it in place!

Well spotted :)
I really must tidy my garage!

I bought that particular guitar off my brother-in-law, who claimed some rubbish about it being an Ibanez Destroyer with a Gibson (or was it Jackson?) neck or something.
It's the same shape as a Destroyer, but I suspect it's some cheap far-eastern jobbie.
Whatever it is, it plays and sounds like cr&p which is partly why it ended up in the garage collecting dust!
