track rod extensions (PLANS)
Hi peeps,
Just finished my rack clamps :) (blog update to follow) Does any have an electric copy of the track rod extension plans? had a quick look in the drawrings & ammendments, but nothing there :( Thanx in advance! Twin |
What do you want to know, you could just ask what size threads and what the basic dims are?
|
I was just wondering if anyone had the plans to hand!
|
why do you need plans its a bit of bar with a thread sticking out on one end and a threaded hole in the other end.
|
Thought someone may have a drawing to work from :-l
|
Bet your sorry you asked eh?
Lets try this way (as suggested) What are the thread sizes? What are the basic dims? |
I'll do a drawing later for the correctly sized items. It will have to later as i seem to have miscalculated the beer to food ratio a bit :D

Nice 1 TK!
At last an intelligent response! Even after beer! Unlike: ''why do you need plans its a bit of bar with a thread sticking out on one end and a threaded hole in the other end.'' I am sure that helps! So is a broom handle! Thought u would know the answer to that one Ash! Ash/Talon I wonder why this forum has gone quiet of late, could it be coz of 'helpful' posts like these? (soon to be deleted) |
Track Rod Extensions.
I have to agree with Leroybrown911
Nice 1 TK! At last an intelligent response! Even after beer! ------------------ As far as i can see Twin asked a perfectly simple question. Does any have an electric copy of the track rod extension plans? had a quick look in the drawrings & ammendments, but nothing there Thanx in advance! A simple and friendly answer would be, as per book on page 76 but the 145mm body length reduced to xxxmm. ---------------------------------- Pasted from the top of this forum page: Haynes Roadster Forums Centred around Build Your Own Sportscar by Chris Gibbs this forum will be the place to come to exchange ideas, information and get advice. Looking to the future without the bitching. :) |
i wasn't intending to come across un-helpful its just a pretty simple part to make.
