Body Panels.
 
Posted this on LCB and got 3 answers all positive.

Has anybody seen or used the fibreglass Locost or Haynes bodywork, produced by agm sportscars ?

Looks ok in the pics but things that would put me off are no bonnet scoop and the side panels just stopping at the front whishbones, they look more proffesionally finished when the wishbones come through seperate holes and the panel meets the nose

i have seen a wlr or two on display and the bodies on them are usually well turned out. cant comment on the roadster stuff though as i have never seen it.

funny i just posted this :rolleyes: spoke to them on the tel. yesterday postage was reasonable and basic gels colours are in stock
not worried about bonet scoop (thay do one to fit) and the wishbone area could be infilled with a bit of sheet and would be easy to do and simple to get a nice fit as it is the tricky end

spoke to alan today at AGM he is happy to supply a extra bit of grp to make an infill panel to fit in the gap.
he is planing on extending it but he has been busy and hasn't got round to ajusting the molds yet

Why is this forum so suspisious of the quality of other companies or of new products? Why would you spend so much time and money making moulds and advertising it then produce crap? If you look at the WLR it's got a few complicated shapes that they pull off very well, a 7 shape is very simple in comparision. Theres also a trend in car GRP that it has to be thick to be thought of as being a good quality. If you use the correct reinforcement materials and a quality resin it can be half the weight and just as strong.

Les please explain yourself. I don't understand why your still trying to stir things up. There is nothing wrong with this topic why do you think it would get deleted? As I have said before we only care about posts that are offencive or destructive towards others

Given that most people collect their bodywork, having an option of where in the country you can go to is a + for the roadster... postage or petrol can add a significant chunk to the cost.
