RWD conversion...
Managed to get the bits needed to convert my Peug engine to rear wheel drive for the roadster....
A bit of a mish-mash of parts but it all fits together and works... Peug block, LDV gearbox, conversion plate, Land Rover clutch slave n master cylinder..... Still cant figure out how to attach photos on here... Grrrrr!!! Bertie. |
This engine and gearbox combo was up on a thread recently. Nice little lot with loads of potential.

Well done
Hi Bertie
Sounds like you are making great progress :) There are umpteen ways to post pictures but here is how it all works for a computer numpty like me :o I use the photo hosting site " Photobucket " this is free to join & use. Usually load my pictures from my camera to the pictures folder on the PC, I then upload them to my Photobucket account. When my pictures on Photobucket & hover the cursor on an image I wish to use, Photobucket will list a drop down menu containing image addresses & the likes. At the bottom of the list, you should see the one that says Image code ( That's the one I use ) Right click the Image code address, then copy, start typing your forum post & when you are ready to insert your image, right click & choose paste, that should insert the image code for you. If you want to check that all is well just click on preview post. The photo will stay on the forum for as long as it is still in your Photobucket album. Hope that is of some help to you :) |
Ah-ha..... Maybe....

Looks like you are well sorted there Bertie :)
Wish I never sent my old LDV gearbox to the scrappy now .... Never thought it would ever be of any use :o |
Most of the bits I ordered are home, new clutch, spigot bearing, R1 carbs, gaskets etc.....
Unfortunatly I'm not at home.... This working milarki fairly gets in the way huh??? Bertie. |
