Redundant fuel pipes

I want to use my sierra fuel tank sender but the fuel flow and return pipes are redundant what should i use to blank them off please?

You could use the return to vent the tank to atmosphere, and just crush the feed one and weld it up.

Exactly what Gus did with his.

Thanks --I just read your post and a little light just flickered in my head:)

I just get a piece of fuel pipe + 2 clips and connect one to the other in a loop:D :D

Simples

Next stupid question is---Do I need an earth strap on an aluminium tank?

Cyberbeej 16th November 2011 09:31 PM

I remember reading something in the IVA manual about this, I think you need to earth the tank regardless of construction.

I'm sure someone else will confirm or correct my thinking.
