Battery Strap

sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I can't seem to find it.. I'm getting the saturn grp bulkhead with the battery tray built in and I'm wondering whats a good way to strap the battery down? Would making a couple of slits in the grp to put something like a belt through be ok from an iva standpoint and not be too much strain on the grp to cause a crack?

Use some thin ally sheet on the inside of the panel to spread the load, its a good idea to keep the bulkhead sealed to stop hot water etc getting into the cockpit if the engine gets too hot,and dont forget leaky battery's.
