Engine mounts

Hi guys,

this is again on behalf of a mate building a roadster. I don't know the answer as mine is (mechanically) very much my own creation.

What engine mounts are best suited to fit an 1.8 CVH engine? He's not sure as the book mentions sierra and landrover mounts.

I'm sure somebody here will know the answer off the top of their head.

Thanks!

Sam.

If he hasnt got any yet then I would recommend the landrover mounts, they are cheap, easily available and rock solid. You can buy them from saturn for £12.

Cheers Tatey,

Yup I used the the one's ozzy1 linked on my cvh and they've worked a treat. I then just made the alternative mounts suggested by the book to get the angles right (not foul steering etc).

I bought mounts and rubber blocks from kitspares.co.uk
They are fabricated 45° and they fit like gloves.
really nice product !
