There are unsaid levels of respect in the Kit Car building fraternity and building from the bare tube gets my highest level of respect.

When asked by the unknowing you find yourself saying, "I built that" you however will be able to say that not only did you build it, you built it from square tube from plans... Wow

Hi Rob...welcome to the forum....you will soon feel immense satisfaction of putting bits and bobs together, welding etc You will have hiccups on the way, but that is where this forum comes into its own...look forward to watching your progress.

Hello Rob, welcome on the forum and good luck for your build :) it is a great adventure, and I can witness that people here, on the forum, are very helpful.
I'm surprised nobody have said it yet, so I do it : we like pictures here, so don't hesitate to publish some as soon as you start, start a build thread or publish the link to your build blog/photo album (photobucket, flickr...) in your signature.
Thanks!
Bye.
Sylvain

Great mate! Flat pack is the way to go unless you are doing a custom chassis job. Look forward to seeing your build and good luck!
