Which Fuel Pump

Just a quicky,

Nearly finished everything on the fuel side of things except for a fuel pump and fill cap.

What sort of fuel pump am i looking for, i'm running a standard set up 2L Pinto with twin weber 40 dcoe's.

I'm getting very close to turning my engine for the first time in 2 1/2 years.

Thanks inadvance

Hi Terry....I thought the pinto's had a mechanical fuel pump fitted to the engine.

They do but they aint that good at keeping a constant pressure, im blanking mine off and am looking at installing one too the rear, one thats rated for fast road car. Cbs and europa spares do them for whhat seams to be a reasonable price

My choice would be the facet http://www.jjcraceandrally.com/Produ... =Fuel%20Pumps

Also I would include regulator with a return to the tank. I ended up with all this on a twincam escort years ago that had twin 40s. It stopped it flooding and helped with the fuel boil from under bonnet heat. http://shop1.actinicexpress.co.uk/sh...___Regulators#

Any good quality low pressure electric pump should be OK with carbs
