TRLane are a well known company within MX5 circles mainly because of their roll over bar range.

Didn't know they were developing a kit though.

Yeh Tim Lane runs a specialist MX-5 workshop. He's quite well respected, gets mentioned occasionally on the MX-5 owners club forum. Found it when looking into the possibility of supercharging the MX-5 engine when it's all finished, which you can do but I think only with mk2 onwards

Interesting concept.

Makes you wonder how the torsional rigidity of that Mono chassis compares to a traditional tubular space frame one.?

I can probably guess the answer to that one but would like to see the numbers.

Would like to view that chassis in the flesh though.

To me it looks a variation on the LOCUST 7 theme (which had a ladder chassis and semi structural plywood bodywork.)
