Sierra track rod ends position

1 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone,
Are my track rod ends in the right position: inserted into the uprights from bellow as on the donor (Sierra donor - Sierra front uprights - Sierra track rod ends)?

Attachment 1502

Thank you.

TT, do you know what's the function of the the triangular protrusion on the rod end? Even with 15" rims it's pretty close to the wheel.

Grind it off Albert,it would fail the radius test here.

a sierra TRE has off set when viewed from above the track rod should be offset to the rear of the car it alows extra clearance iirc

my aftermarket ones have L & R forged in and thay also match up

the tang bits look like there there to aid mass manifacture so forged blanks can be mounted/clamped quickly for machining

Seen TRE's put on the wrong sides on a Volvo I tested, carves inner rims to bits.
