There is some questions now about the permanence of edge protection but so far edge trim seems to work and is accepted.
I would carry plenty of spare stuff and some silicon sealer, when i had some trim loose on the front wings the tester comented that it was loose but did not say what i should do so i went to the van and came out with a box of trim and some silicon sealer and just glued it back, he was happy.
The exhaust will only need a rolled edge to the end.
The Db requirement is now less than it was, 99db i think, so a bike can may not be quiet enough
