There was a tutorial on here at some point but I think it was one of the deleted posts
Personally, I made most of the parts up, tacked the frame together then offered them up to the chassis rails in the correct place & angle ..... Then fettled & tweaked to suit.
It all worked out fine ..............The steering wheel & column fits as it should
When you make the angled plates with the slotted holes, then clamp them into position .........The whole frame makes a lot more sense, you'll get a much clearer picture of things
