As far as i,m aware, the chassis you have bought was made by a company called 3ge, They supply parts for the Haynes Roadster, are keen forum members & are a great bunch of guys,
The chassis i presume will be built to the "book spec", tho i think it has a different front suspension set up,
without seeing a pic of the chassis i can,t say for sure about the diff placement & again presume it was made to accept the MKII escort steering rack.
Might be worthwhile contacting John at 3ge, ( contact info in members list on here)
