I definitely think you should try and find the cause of the issue instead of buying a new CVH engine, as it could have exactly the same issue.

Are you using the standard carb or bike carbs?

everything is standard, I know very little about carbs as well, almost nothing, but im always ready to learn . If i knew what the problem was id be more than happy to fix it, but i don't want to waste my money on a lost cause at the same time.
