As mentioned if your going to tune it, you'll struggle to get off the shelf parts for it. But I've seen a few (on escorts) running well into 175bhp for only a couple of hundred quid. They are cheap though, and when you compare getting a zetec to 180bhp to rs2000, the savings can be huge. Also most RS2000 engines are cat exempt for the IVA, another big saving and it makes the build easier.

Does anybody know how much work it is in the swap between the standard DOHC & the 16v version?? Isnt it just a different head?
