I noticed that when I offer the CVH sandwich plate to the Escorts Zetec engine ..... There is a fair bit of spare flange that is surplus to requrements & could be cut off

My thinking is that with such a deep flange, it gives the impression that the base of the sump does not require altering .... I have a sneaky feeling once I have removed the surplus flange, i'll see a differnt picture.

Will try to get some pictures up shortly

Did manage to clean up the diff yesterday but have not painted it as yet.
