Personally, I have kept all my fuel rails away from anything so that they only ever touch the p clips (or hose at the ends
) in the same way you do with brake pipes. My logic behind this was that in use the pipes will vibrate and if they touch anything like the edge of a tube they will start to 'wear' through as they do.
