I've just got to machine the tapers, I've calculated the taper angle at 2.9 degrees, my intent is to test this on an offcut using the ball joint taper as a plug gauge.(that is when it arrives) That is unless someone knows a better way of getting the right taper?

I am somewhat confused Trif.....you say you have just "turned" the upright bushes.... which ones are these? the axminster reamer as I understand is to ream the hole in the hub carrier for the maxi ball joint and the mushrooms are for the tranny drag link in the top ball joint......please explain or have I missed something major
