... the anodised layer will never be that much thicker than 25 microns as it stops conducting electricity beyond that (whilst anodising) it goes without saying that if you want any kind of corrosion resistance to be prolonged in this country you have to rinse off at the end of the drive (if you can of course) or as soon as you can. it is as simple as that.
