I've seen it done where the panel is rivited along the top facing out and also down the diagonals. It looks ok but not my cup of tea.

Personally I don't want any fixings on show ( or as little as possible).
I'm thinking of fixing along the bottom and from the nose to the end of the scuttle and using sealant for the bit visable in the cockpit.
If the sealant isnt strong enough then using M5 ss dome head Allen bolts and rivnuts.

Ps I'm using fiberglass sides not ali.
