well update with the engine rebuild got new rings, bigends and mains all fitted in
got some uprated bigend bolts (dunnel type) and fitted new under piston oil jets as my 105bhp 1.8 has plugs fitted (oil pumps are the same as 130bhp)
just picked the head up from the auto engineers as i have had it skimed down
a bit of a double whamy job clean up and raise comp a little
next job is to modify sump and reseat all 16 valves and biuld up the rest of the botom end.
will probably mod up the ports and uprate the cams
