Sound's like a fair deal to me Les
Knowing what kind of work you have to do Les, I can fully understand where you are coming from .... Nothing worse than traveling miles to carry out a repair, just to find out that you don't have the one thing that you need

If it's any consolation to you, my father was exactly the same ( Aircraft engineer )
As a general rule of thumb, if you needed to use one of his tools, it was a case of .. " Best not even go there "
That said, you only had to ask & he would do the job for you.
It is a real pitty that he passed away just before I started my build, he would have been here every day & would have loved every aspect of the build.
One thing is for sure, I would of had a full alloy body for the build, he was an absolute whiz with the English wheel & all things to do with alloy shaping.
