Not wanting to dig up old ground either but it wasn't so much that mods shouldn't be on the committtee but the lack of communication to the great unwashed about it.
Sadly we won't be at Stoneleigh this year (commitments to a magazine unrelated to kit cars) but I'd be happy to see the formation of a club, along the lines of what was discussed last year or as Adrian suggests donating the money to charity. I would have gone for the wine women and song option but as I won't be there I don't think that would be fair
