Well, its not the oil that is overheating,
I,ve worked it out that its something electrical, maybe a bad earth or a frayed wire
so will run a new wire from sender to gauge & see what happens.....have I ever said " I hate electrickery "
Tho I suppose I,m relieved that the oil wasn,t at the temp the gauge was telling me ...phew
Whilst working on the car today, 2 Police officers walked up to have a looksy ( unusual sight , seeing two actually walking the beat ), they stayed for ages, asking all sorts about the build, even asked me if I,d driven it yet
, they weren,t looking for a booking, just seemed genuinely interested in the car,
They stayed so long that they ended up getting on their radio thingy, next thing there was a Police transit van there to pick them up
They were ok tho, they thought the concept of building from scratch very interesting, even asked for a spin out when its registered
