I,m sure this car of mine likes living in the garage too much
when you think all is well, it goes & does something to wind me up .....snapped the clutch cable now
( & yes it was a new cable when I installed the engine) ok, I know its not a major setback but it still means more time to sort it out.
Tho, thankfully my local motor factors let me rummage thru their old stock of clutch cables & I think I,ve found one that will fit, its an inch longer than my Capri one so will fit it tomorrow, might need to make the adjuster longer by creating a spacer where it passes thru the bellhousing, its from a P100 so hopefully all will be well & driveable again tomorrow
Still got an issue with my oil temp gauge, might ditch it
, oil pressure all ok so happy with that, I just wanted the extra gauge to even the dash panel out
