He did and like others have said there are a lot of hybrids out there
.
The downside with altering things to a given design ie: making it wider is nobody makes panels that fit so in the even of a shunt you are into repairing rather than buying new stuff.
The only people who did body panels for the Mcsorley plans were GTS Tuning, there are made by the scarlet pimpernel though
