Have since put the idle control valve back on to a length of the old air filter pipe..put a jubilee clip around the crankcase hose as those spring clip things are crap...it has now slowed down considerably...there is a pipe connection (8mm hose) under the throttle flap that is not connected ...need to find out where it should go...then get on with plumbing the radiator and alternator in so i can run it for a bit longer...
