I used an r1 can on my car the early models are st/st but im sure from 2002 onward are titainium mine was off a 2004 model and mine is titainium you carnt weld titainium to st/st. I had to make a st/st slip joint to mount mine. mine was grey and these are also made from titainium the grey wrap is made of aluminium!
