dont worry i was as well at the same point
its not as bad as you think a simple two bits of board and 12mm studding and a load of nuts and its not as bad as you think
just skip the book jigs and simplify thats what i did. i set the gaps on the brackets on 500mm long bits of studding with plain nuts then cut simple pair of identical boards with holes to pass the studding in with nus and washers at the right height and distence apart, trim out bits to clear the tubes
make sure your on centerline for all your mesurments and with a few cuppers and messureing twice and a few tacks and your there
just dont rush and take yor time.
*top tip* if your build board is set flat and level a nut and thin sewing cotton maks a good plumb line (black or red is best)
