I don't think that you will want to retain the Omega's donut coupling once you see just how close it will be to the sides of the transmission tunnel
Same goes for original Sierra donut I guess.
Yes, the prop can be fitted easily to the Ford type 9 box as it has a splined input shaft for the prop.
This spline will act as a sliding joint.
The Omega gearbox has a fixed flange to couple the propshaft to, without some form of sliding joint in the new prop, I doubt it will be possible to fit the prop without dif or gearbox removal.
I guess it's a bit confusing as we kinda have 2 different threads going at the same time
