Ive got a Kawasaki ZX6R and high speeds in poor weather(I'm told
) can be fairly comfortable provided you wear the right gear.I dont think the lack of windscreen will be too much of an issue in the short term ---full face helmet and bike gear until windscreens can be organised.
If you are not a biker you can get decent s/hand stuff cheap on ebay
