Whilst sympathising with the purist 'windscreens and roofs are for wimps' view (and being someone who takes the mickey out of anyone driving a roadster with the top on unless it's actually snowing
) I owned a Cobra replica a few years ago and soon got to appreciate the existence of a windscreen and weathergear not only allowed the car to be used all year but also made it much more practical to park in a drive when there was no garage available.
