I personaly would consider looking on ebay at second hand engine cranes. They are purpose made for the job and if your lucky can be had for under £100. 25x25 box is nowhere strong enough to go swinging 60-120kg worth of engine and gearbox about, the least I'd go for 40x40x4-5mm or 80x40x3mm.
