I,d like to thank "Gus" for saving the day for me with regard the engine package he had for sale,......
I confirmed with Gus that I would have his engine on the friday, it was despatched to me on monday & delivered to my garage on wednesday.....really quick turn around ....thanks for that Gus
The engine has been installed & it runs like a dream, started on first turn of the key once the fuel pump had got fuel to the carb....well chuffed.
I,ve now driven it & I,ll be totally honest, it ( the engine ) is soooooooo much better than my original, smoother & quicker to pick up the revs ( I know its only a CVH engine but so much better than my "sick" original engine).
I,d like to publicly thank all the forum members who offered me their engines / or use of ......Thanks guys
A great forum spirit of help .
Also to thank Spud for helping me "jiggle"
the new engine in ( jiggle as in getting it on the gearbox shaft ),
& to Nathan at NTS for the use of the engine hoist.
