At the end of the day if you think you have come up with a solution to the problem go for it. Everybody has different opinions on how to do stuff but if you believe what you are doing is an improvement I'm all for it.
I've changed many things along the way on my build, some like it some don't but its what you believe in that counts.
I'm sure if what you are doing works out it will benefit many ppl to come on this forum as I'm afraid the Sierra is becoming something called "Rocking horse S**t" as we know it it Lincolnshire....
that's why I and my friends opted for the MX5 option... no I am not a hair dresser by the way...LOL
