When I raced motorbikes we used to use a similar product, but as I say it was in a "Racing" situation which was to try & minimise fuel spillage in the event of a crash/tank damage & not used to just "baffle" the sloshing effect of the fuel,
So if you are thinking of using it as a baffle then it may be overkill in a Road going car ( hopefully to never be involved in such an incident that would cause the tank to split/fracture).

It does reduce tank capacity, not by a huge amount but need to be aware of & also you can,t use a standard type of fuel gauge sender ( the floating arm type).

I would warn NOT to use the "Foam" type, as even tho they say it doesn,t degrade...it DOES & can get into the fuel supply system & cause blockage & can be a nightmare to clear.

cheers
