It just looks odd as there is no problem with fitting the cylinder at the top apart from the slight clearance issue with the inlet to the cylinder,it would look as that setup is for a caliper as you need clearance for the handbrake mech on the rear and that fouls the upright,it also defies everything I ever learnt regarding leading and trailing shoe setup's in the 40 years I have spent in the motor trade,the cable entry would also be a bit of an angle too.

There is an obvious answer and I am interested as to what it is.
