lol... managed to get it open by having the wife pull the lever and then me pulling up on the bonnet. Latch has rusted quite badly now so I've sprayed a load of oil on it which will hopefully sort it out longer term... Annoying though turns out when I put it in the garage to have the clutch done they've forgotten to put the dip stick back in the engine...

I only bought it caz it was cheap at £200 and once you take the back seats out its like having a small van
