Hello to another new builder!
I was in the same position as you a year ago, couldn't weld, had no parts, no clue and lts of good intentions.
Heard about a Sierra going cheap nearby from a mate down the pub (now completely stripped and the shell is in bits in a hedge) and got my dads old MIGmate 100 out of the shed.
An hour practicing on a polished old lump of landy chassis and I was better than my dad!
My chassis is nearly complete!
One thing to watch if you do go sierra route, get the right model! Mine is a 4x4 meaning I'll have to swap a few parts at some point.
But most importantly, have fun!
P.S. I think Will_08 has it about right on those people turning a roadster into a roadster
