Do you mean that if the original heating valve simply closes the heating circuit for cool air supply (no more water circulation), I can blank the in/out on my engine, but if the original valve bypass the water flow out of the heating radiator for cool air supply (water always circulates, through the radiator for warm air, our of the radiator for cool air), it is better to make a loop and let the water always circulate on my engine?
If I understood you correctly, the problem is that I have no idea how the original Sierra DOHC heater control valve works
I'm going to have a look in the repair manual to check if I can find anything about that.
