Good answer!

The same reason I am putting a £230 saab engine in mine. Solid for 450bhp before you have to touch the pistons. I'm reigning the horses in on mine to a modest 350bhp for reasons of underware preservation.

I expect the engine costs including the turbo, chargecooler and custom inlet manifold to come in under a grand, with a car attached. Plus the Saab engine management system can be fully remapped by an owner with the right software.
