Had the insurance assessor pay me a visit this morning. He seemed like a nice enough chap.
We went through and made a list of everything that needs replacing. He even thought of a couple of things that I hadn't.
We couldn't spot any signs of structural/chassis damage which is good.
By my reckoning I think he's going to say it'll cost somewhere in the region of £800 - £900 to fix if I do the work, so I think/hope there shouldn't be any danger of them writing it off!
Just a matter of waiting to see what the insurance company say now.
In the meantime I've started stripping it down so I'm ready to put it back together as soon as I get the go ahead.
