Actually Phil..its a lot easier than you think, my guess is that most tiptronics work via an electrical signal through a switch.... replace that switch with a car alarm zapper and module with relays (relays act as switch near gearselector) zapper switches resoldered to be activated by paddles hey presto paddle system... it is finding the right eng/gearbox combo to work with ie audi (hard) or bimmer (easy I think) as long as you keep all associated looms ecu's etc I see no reason why it would not be fairly straight forward
