![]() While sorting the workspace I have knicked a few ideas from mates. I will list a few out as I go. The first one is relative to welding, grinding riveting , sheet metalwork etc. I used to keep the rivets in a draw ,the drill in its own box, the rivet tools in the main tool box and the drills on a shelf. so a lot of time is wasted on a small riveting operation just getting all the kit out. My mate who does a lot of car restoration work has all the tools relevant to an operation like rivets in one box, ie all the different sizes of rivets, the relevant drill sizes , a pistol drill and all the rivet tools. It makes it far easier to get started , its easier to work from the box which stays with you as you work around the car and packing up is a lot quicker.I have been using this system for over a year now its a major time saver and a lot tidier. The same applies to welding ,grinding rivnuts and on.
