Thumbs down Mig went pop

My mig`s smoke capsule broke and its all leaked out I have kept it in the shed for the toys so I can run .6 wire in it, all the workshop migs have .8 or 1mm and its a pain to keep swapping over the wire. It was a Sealey powermig 200 and it probably has done less than 2 hours work, it was the pro range which makes it worse as I paid north of £600 for it. Anyway its a long time out of guarantee so I had a quick scout on the bay of thieves and bought a SIP ideal 210 pro. for £100. The only thing it needed was the leads changed and a new torch, my mate at the welding supply shop brought round a natty little torch with a swivel ball at the machine end which allows for all the pulling about. Not that it matters but the thing is not so much a minimig but a bit of a monster at about a meter high . Just having a play with it on some thin plate to get the feel of it.

I had a quick play with it, its got a rusty roll of mig wire in there so I will change that buts its not bad for a small mig on thin stuff.
