shocks

hi guys was just out in my garage and was looking at my harley would the rear shocks off a harley be suitable for the rear of the roadster
the size of the shock is 12" eye to eye,
with a spring size of about 8mm.
has anyone else used motorbike rear shocks?

probably not - the ones designed for bikes are allowing for a lot lower weight to dampen
