I bought me seats from them last year, no problem. Then another member bought some and had to wait ages.

I had no problem with their communications, other member did.

There is some sort of three pointed triangle (yes I know all triangles have 3 points) between KPD, Kitspares and GBS. KPD used to be part of GBS until last year when they seperated, then KS started up which I think was GBS's replacement arm for KPD.

Dont know if its fair to post on this untill all avenues are exhausted, Its not easy to be a supplier when you could be let down with your wholesaler, courier or an individual from your workforce. Might be best to speak with the md and judge the company from the response thereafter. Your case might be just a blip!!!

I agree BUT how many times do i phone,How many emails do i send If I ran my company the way in which these people do I would be having the same trouble with customers looking for me.The decent thing to do would be to, at the very least, email back but nothing. Customers MUST be kept informed, this is not business, sorry to be blowing off but its just not the way to do the job

I don't like to bad mouth anybody but I've heard a lot of people complaining about their service. I certainly wouldn't use them when there are reputable suppliers out there who can be relied upon. Even if they ate going to be late sending something the least they can do is reply to an email or phonecall.

A well known supplier of restoration tools ( that sounds like a cold morning) was recently just as lax with a freinds order.

He ordered some brake bending pliers on ebay, a flaring tool turned up. He emailed, rang, emailed, rang, emailed emailed etc.. Virtually no response till he initiated an ebay case and eventually the correct item turned up after 3 weeks.

I Imagine that there are just 2 or three people in these businesses trying to handle a reasonable volume of orders and keeping costs down whilst trying to earn a living.

Default Customer Service.

A few minutes spent keeping customers up to date on deliveries, even if only a few days late = more orders and a good reputation. This saves me time as engineering buyer for a large international company.

A good reputation takes 20 years to build and 20 seconds to loose

i had some rear uprights from George Newman he paid £100 from GTS, i had them to try and use parts from, well lets just say i would not buy from them the welding looked like it was done in a bird cage they were s**t.
here is a link:
http://www.haynes.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=3082

they did'nt even have the 10mm ring in the pipe
the pipe was not the 5"required
the pipe was the same as the PCD for the holes.

need i say any more.

plus he also bought a scuttle and a nose cone from them they were all to cock twisted, not trimmed a real shoddy job i'm just gad i did not pay for them, as far as i am aware he went to trading standards.

i can see what the appeal is, the price!
