Default Diy electro plating

Hi,

I have dabbled in the art of electro plating, got as far as the electro cleaning of parts & managed a little copper-plating

I have done a mountain of research, the 2 main obstacles to overcome appear to be finding a suitable power suply & obtaining some very hard to come by chemicals.
I also forgot the Health & saftey & enviromental regulations. A complete nightmare.

Multi stage electo plating for medium to large size parts has a very large initial outlay, cost wise that is.

For one off jobs it would probably be best to find a local electro platers.
