![]() A plasma that will cut clean over 6mm or even be reliable is on my 'shopping/wish' list along with a replacement AC/DC tig that works, 3 phase 250+ amp mig the list goes on and on now I just need the money to pay for some of it....

![]() That looks to be an awesome bit of kit, certainly beats the old chain drill technique.
To carve through 15mm steel that cleanly must be a decent spec. Nice to see a steady hand action too!! |

![]() Ok you lot I have a confession to make . The circle was done with a cutters compass. You put the plasma head or a gas cutting head in there and do perfect circles.
![]() ![]() Freehand on 1/2" plate just using a straight edge to follow produces this. makes virtually no slag on the underside. ![]() A gem , I was talked into it by my boc supplier when the gas was on a shortage. I have only just started to play with it , it seems happy up to about 20 ish mm and will sever 27mm bar so good enough for anything I need it for. ![]() Bob

![]() Been messing about with the plasma cutter on some experimental rad mounts in 3mm plate.
As cut and I used a steel ring to use as a guide for the holes. They barely need more than a file run across them. Bob ![]() ![]()
